Feeling lost and alone, Peter turns to alcohol to numb his pain.One day, while wandering through the streets of Vienna, Peter stumbles upon a group of artists and intellectuals who are challenging societal norms through their avant-garde performances. Intrigued by their passion and rebellion against tradition, Peter decides to join them.As part of the artistic movement, Peter begins exploring different forms of expression. He experiments with painting, writing poetry, and even acting in experimental theater productions. Through these creative outlets, he slowly starts to heal from his traumatic past.However, as political tensions rise in Vienna with the emergence of fascist ideologies, the artistic community finds itself under threat. The government starts censoring their work and arresting those who speak out against the regime.Peter becomes increasingly involved in political activism as he witnesses firsthand the persecution faced by his fellow artists. Together with his newfound friends from the art scene, he organizes protests and underground gatherings to resist oppression.The film reaches its climax when one of their secret meetings is raided by police forces loyal to the fascists. In a violent clash between protesters and authorities,Peter is injured but manages to escape capture. Realizing that he can no longer stay in Vienna without risking further danger for himself or others,he makes plansto flee abroadand continuehis fight for freedom elsewhere. With a heavy heart,Peter bids farewellto Vienna,knowing that although he may be leaving behind everything familiar,he carries within himthe spirit of resistancethat was ignited during those tumultuous times.
